TWENTY-NINE YIKES!

Well first of all I have to say, I have been a little uneasy for a while now about this day coming. But it ended up being the best in a decade!

Well this should be at the end of my post. This was our final destination on our hike! I was so proud of Jagger. Two years ago, we did this same hike and he (well both of us) thought he was going to die and he hardly complained and never stopped this time.

We are all so beautiful! Love Jags face :)
Briggs and Grandma
Tram ride. Jason was so excited, because this was his first time on a bus.
Jason filled his sock with dirt all the way to the top.
Picnicing-Briar made the best chicken salad. YUM!
My nephew Jason-What a ham! This is exactly what I wanted to do for my 29th (*cringing) birthday. I was thrilled when my sister Briar said that she was coming down. I love to hike and especially with the people I love so much. My family decorated my classroom for Monday morning, which was a wonderful suprise, since Joe thought my birthday was on Tuesday and had to call me after he'd already left for work to wish me a Happy Birthday. That afternoon, Joe took me to Cedar where he bought me a few new outfits and we went out for Mexican food (My favorite). I've had a great time in my twenties, and I am going to make this last year the best of all and so when it is time to bring on thirty I will feel okay with it.

Rocket Derby

Joe and Jagger spent several weeks getting the rocket just right. In March, Jagger participated in the 4th Ward Scout Rocket Derby and took 1st place. He was so excited! He thought his Dad was the best rocket builder, EVER! Then he was invited to go to the District Rocket Derby the following week. We tried to let Jagger know that there was really no possibility that he would win, because his Rocket did not make it to the end of the line when other Rockets had. We thought he understood this and assumed he was going to the District event just for the fun of it. But when he didn't win, he was VERY disapointed. He no longer felt that his Dad was the best and that made Joe a little mad. But all in all, it was fun and it was great to see Jagger and Joe enjoying working on something together.
